Results of the 2014 – 2015 Mevlana Exchange Programme Academic Staff Applications

Funds are transferred to higher education institutions within the scope of Mevlana Exchange Programme, which is implemented and conducted by the Council of Higher Education, and within the framework of article 10 of the Law No. 2547 which is titled “Transfer of Funds”.  

With reference to the announcement of the Council of Higher Education regarding the “Evaluation Results”, due to financial resource issuesenough budgets which would cover all the requested quotas could not be transferred to the higher education institutions which have applied for exchange in the 2014 – 2015 academic yea, pursuant to the related Programme.

In addition, the Council of Higher Education have limited the exchange periods for the academic staff to a maximum of 21 days, which were originally 3 months. In this respect, in order that more academic staff can benefit from the programme within the given budget, OMU Mevlana Coordinatorship has considered to limit the staff exchange remuneration with 15 days and approved the reimbursement of the transportation expenses which are supported within the Programme. 
 
Considering the budget, we had to categorise the applicants into main list and reserved list. In case of any cancelation from the main list, the candidates on the reserved list will be able to have the right to perform the mobility program.

Daily wages payable to academic staff coming to OMU:
For Professors : 40.50 TL
For Associate Professors : 37.50 TL
For Assistant Professor Doctors : 35.00 TL
For Others : 31.00 TL

For those who are on the main list, please submit your  Academic Staff Mobility Plan Form before 30th September 2014  to our Mevlana Office. The exchange mobility period can be any time between 15th September 2014 to 30th August 2015.

For those who are on the reserved list, please submit your  Academic Staff Mobility Plan Form before 30th November 2014  to our Mevlana Office. The exchange mobility period can be any time between 2nd February 2015 to 30th August 2015.
 
We will then announce the availability for the reserved list according to our budget.
